Most Southern California masjids believe the month of Ramadan in the Islamic (Hijri) Calendar year of 1446 will be 29 days long and have already made Eid ulFitr announcements.
The last day of Ramadan will coincide with the Gregorian calendar date of 29 March, 2025. The first day of Shawwal will begin on the evening of March 29th with Eid ulFitr prayers taking place on the morning of March 30th.
